Yoga

Stress and anxiety are prevalent in our society. So much so that stress is one of the major contributors to diseases these days.  Yoga may help reduce stress, lower blood pressure and lower your heart rate.  Lowering your stress can also help with heart disease, cancer, diabetes and emotional well being.  If stress getting the best of you, you might want to  yoga a try. Yoga is a mind-body practice that combines physical poses, controlled breathing, and meditation or relaxation.  Many holistic doctors are recommending meditation, breath work, yoga or tai chi to reduce the stress in their lives.

Like everyone else, I deal with stress.  It's inevitable, we cannot avoid stress, but we can change how we deal with it.  I knew I needed to develop a practice to help me slow down and de-stress.  I started meditating and trying to practice yoga a few nights a week.  One thing led to another and I ended up with a 200 hour yoga certification.

I am planning on offering yoga classes at my office space.  I am testing the waters now to see if that is possible.  I am aiming for February.
