Ingredients
- 1 lb grass fed organic ground beef
- 3/4 cup chopped onion
- 3 garlic cloves minced
- 4 cups organic beef broth
- 2 1/4 cup chopped sweet potatoes
- 1 cup chopped red potatoes
- 1 cup chopped carrots
- 1 cup chopped green beans
- 2 bay leaves
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1/8 tsp ground allspice
- 1/8 tsp ground cloves
- 1 oz can 14diced tomatoes undrained optional

Instructions
- In a large saucepan, cook the beef, onion and garlic over medium heat until meat is no longer pink, drain well. Add the broth, potatoes, carrots, bay leaves, spices and bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Add the tomatoes if desired. Cook and stir until heated through. Discard bay leaves
- Notes:
- I sometimes add more veggies (or whatever veggie I have on hand like cabbage or kale)and spices and when I do I will add more broth until desired consistency.
- Can be made vegan my substituting your favorite bean for the hamburger.
